Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and Talk therapy offers a unique alternative to traditional indoor sessions. Instead of sitting face-to-face, we walk together while discussing your concerns.

Who It Helps

  • People with excess energy during sessions

  • Those who feel uncomfortable sitting still

  • Clients who prefer side-by-side conversations over direct eye contact

  • Individuals who feel more comfortable in nature

Benefits

  • Reconnect to nature - Take a break from being indoors or on a screen.

  • Mind-Body Connection - Walking connects thoughts with physical movement

  • Improved Mood - Exercise releases endorphins, reducing anxiety and depression

  • Increased Mindfulness - Nature helps you stay present and practice mindfulness skills

  • Enhanced Creativity - Movement and improved mood unlock creative thinking

Important Considerations

  • Less privacy than indoor sessions

  • Weather and energy levels may affect sessions

  • Some therapeutic work (like trauma treatments) better suited indoors
